28.01.2025Baltic ministers confirm joint readiness to synchronise the electricity systems of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia with he synchronous area of continental EuropeOn 24 January 2025, ministers of the Baltic States met in Riga, Latvia, to discuss final preparations for connecting the Baltic energy networks to the grid of continental Europe. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment Krzysztof Bolesta, Estonian Minister of Climate Yoko Alender, Latvian Minister of Climate and Energy Kaspars Melnis and Lithuanian Minister of Energy Žygimantas Vaičiūnas.
