National Support Centre for Agriculture

On 17 February 2025 was the opening day of the jubilee, 30th edition of GULFOOD fair held in Dubai - one of the three largest exhibition events of the food sector in the world. This could not be missed by KOWR, which organises the national stand at GULFOOD for the eighth time. The Polish products are presented in 3 exhibition halls: World Food, Dairy and Beverages.

On 18th February 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, visited the National Support Center for Agriculture (KOWR). On behalf of the hosts, the meeting was attended by Deputy Directors General Lucjan Zwolak and Leszek Iwaniuk. The Mayor of Drohiczyn, Wojciech Borzym, also attended.

As each mid-February, the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre hosted many representatives of the organic sector producers. The BIOFACH fair, which in this year were held between 11 and 14 February, could not go without the Polish companies and the national stand, which has been organised by the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) since 2018.

The current year edition of the world's largest fair of confectionery and snacks - ISM Cologne - was launched in Cologne, Germany, on 2 February 2025. This is the fifth time the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) is present at the Koln fair.

On 27th January 2025, as part of promotional activities coinciding with Poland's Presidency of the Council of the EU, a promotion of Polish apples with Protected Geographical Indication took place in Brussels. Grójec apples and apple-stuffed pastry were distributed for tasting.

On 9th January 2024, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the National Support Center for Agriculture (KOWR) with representatives of the Ningbo city administration, one of China's most important trade centres and home to the Ningbo-Zhoushan harbour, the world's busiest seaport in terms of transshipment tonnage. The event was attended by Lucjan Zwolak, KOWR Deputy Director General, who opened the meeting, emphasising KOWR's role in promoting Polish exports in foreign markets.
