SGS 2027 call - Projects for Early-Career Female Researchers in Engineering and Technology

Total allocation for the Call: €15,000,000 / PLN 63,639,000

Minimum project amount: €200,000 / PLN 848,520

Maximum project amount: €400,000 / PLN 1,697,040

Project duration: 24 months

Final eligibility date for project costs: 30 April 2031

Call 2 is dedicated to supporting early-career women researchers* in the fields of engineering and technological sciences.

* In the context above, the term “early-career” is consistent with the definition of a young researcher under the Polish Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science.

Objectives of the SGS 2027 Call

The SGS 2027 Call aims to:

  • support women researchers in leadership roles and foster their scientific career development;
  • strengthen scientific independence;
  • establish or expand research teams;
  • encourage internationalisation activities such as study visits, training, and networking.

Eligible Applicants - Research organisations based in Poland are eligible to apply.

The call is open to all scientific disciplines and imposes no thematic restrictions. However, each project must address at least one of the three EEA and Norway Grants priorities:

  • European green transition
  • Democracy, rule of law and human rights
  • Social inclusion and resilience
