The National Centre for Research and Development

The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) has just selected 10 companies that will take part in acceleration held in Nevada. The last few weeks were very intense, as Polish innovators participated in workshops and presentations to convince American and Polish jurors to their solutions. They now stand a chance to enter the American and global markets.

As the Operator of the Research and Innovation Programme, Applied Research implemented under the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme, the National Centre for Research and Development works to further strengthen the research excellence and innovation potential of Polish research organisations and enterprises. The Programme places particular emphasis on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises as key drivers of innovation and job creation. In two calls for proposals, 32 projects received support totalling PLN 133 million.

The NCBR Brussels Office, together with the AGH University of Krakow and the AGH Cybersecurity Centre, invites you to the event "Strengthening Security in Research and Academia”, which will take place on 10 March 2026, from 13:30 to 18:00 at the NCBR Brussels Office, Rue Belliard 40 in Brussels.

Representatives of the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) participated in the 12th Polish-Taiwanese Seminar, which took place on November 3-4 in the port city of Keelung, Taiwan. The event was organized as part of the long-standing cooperation between the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) and the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC). This intensive two-day meeting dedicated to marine science and technologies aimed to deepen bilateral relations and exchange experiences in innovative solutions for the maritime sector.

The cohort of start-ups participating in the acceleration activity of the National Centre for Research and Development with the State of Nevada has just completed its acceleration process in the Silver and Sunshine States. Polish companies presented themselves before mentors and investors from Poland and the USA.
