Legal Bureau
The Legal Office is responsible for providing legal services to the General Director for Environmental Protection and issuing legal opinions for the purposes of the office's activities, as well as for the proper preparation of draft normative acts from a legislative and legal point of view.
The Office is also responsible for managing and providing access to environmental information and for processing applications for certificates regarding facts or legal status arising from official registers, the maintenance of which is a statutory task of the General Director for Environmental Protection.
In addition, the remit of the Legal Office includes complaints, applications and petitions, as well as the coordination of cooperation with the Regional Directorates for Environmental Protection.
