Publication summarising the 14th Warsaw Human Rights Seminar
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs kindly invites you to explore a bilingual electronic publication containing the presentations delivered during the 14th Warsaw Human Rights Seminar, held under the title Human Rights in Situations of Crisis: Turning Challenging Circumstances into Opportunities on 24 October 2023 under the auspices of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Ms Marija Pejčinović Burić. It contains still highly relevant recommendations concerning the development by States and international organisations of effective crisis-response mechanisms that are both efficient and fully compliant with human rights standards.

The conference speakers included distinguished representatives of international organisations, academia, and practitioners professionally engaged in the field of human rights protection. The conference's keynote speaker was Ms Danielle Bell, Head of the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine. The publication also includes documents prepared by the Council of Europe Drafting Group on Human Rights in Situations of Crisis (CDDH-SCR), which was chaired by Poland.
