Dr hab. Marek Rabiński. Absolwent Wydziału Mechanicznego Energetyki i Lotnictwa Politechniki Warszawskiej (specjalność – energetyka jądrowa), doktor habilitowany, pracownik naukowy w Narodowym Centrum Badań Jądrowych w Świerku (fizyka i inżynieria plazmy); autor dwustu kilkudziesięciu publikacji naukowych, kierujący zadaniami europejskich programów EURATOM i EUROfusion kontrolowanej syntezy jądrowej; członek założyciel Polskiego Towarzystwa Nukleonicznego i Stowarzyszenia Ekologów na Rzecz Energii Nuklearnej, członek Europejskiego Towarzystwa Nukleonicznego i sekcji Fizyki Plazmy Komitetu Fizyki Polskiej Akademii Nauk; prezes Polskiego Towarzystwa Nukleonicznego (od 2021 r.) organizator wyjazdów naukowych i praktyk studenckich w Czarnobylskiej Strefie Wykluczenia (od 1995 r.); popularyzator nauki.

Dsc Marek Rabiński. A graduate of the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology (specialization - nuclear energy), postdoctoral doctor, researcher at the National Center for Nuclear Research in Świerk (plasma physics and engineering); author of two hundred and several dozen scientific publications, managing the tasks of the European programs EURATOM and EUROfusion of controlled nuclear fusion; founding member of the Polish Nuclear Society and the Association of Ecologists for Nuclear Energy, member of the European Nuclear Society and the Plasma Physics section of the Physics Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences; president of the Polish Nuclear Society (from 2021), organizer of research trips and student internships in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone (since 1995); popularizer of science.

Pracownik agencji dozoru jądrowego – Centralnego Laboratorium Ochrony Radiologicznej (1988-1992) i Państwowego Inspektoratu Ochrony Radiologicznej i Bezpieczeństwa Jądrowego (1992-1993). Ekspert Międzynarodowej Agencji Energii Atomowej (maea) w Wiedniu (1993-1997). Konsultant w firmie Enconet Consulting GmbH, Wiedeń, Austria (1998-2010, aktualnie konsultant współpracujący) w zakresie specjalności: energetyka jądrowa, bezpieczeństwo jądrowe i zarządzanie ryzykiem.

 

MACIEJ KULIG. Graduated in 1962 from Warsaw University of Technology, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Energy and Aviation (M.Sc. in mechanical engineering). Research worker in the former Institute of Nuclear Research (IBJ) and then the Institute of Atomic Energy (IEA), Świerk (1962-1988) – Ph.D. in mechanical engineering ("Optimization of thermal hydraulic systems using numerical methods of nonlinear programming") in 1982. Staff member of the national regulatory authorities – the Central Laboratory for Radiological Protection (1988-1992) and the National Inspectorate for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (1992-1993). Technical Officer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (1993-1997). Senior Consultant in the area of nuclear power, nuclear safety and risk management at the Enconet Consulting GmbH, Vienna, Austria (1998-2010 as permanent staff and since 2010 - until now as a freelance consultant).

Dr Sławomir Potempski

Dr Sławomir Potempski pracuje w Narodowym Centrum Badań Jądrowych jako kierownik Centrum Doskonałości, obecnie Centrum Analiz Zagrożeń MANHAZ (Management of Health and Environmental Hazards – Zarządzanie Zagrożeniami dla Zdrowia i Środowiska). Uzyskał stopień doktora nauk matematycznych na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim w dziedzinie matematyki stosowanej. Główne obszary badań to: analizy ryzyka instalacji jądrowych i chemicznych, analizy skutków awarii, przygotowanie działań awaryjnych z uwzględnieniem komputerowych systemów wspomagania decyzji, metody numeryczne i wysokowydajne przetwarzanie komputerowe, zaawansowane techniki programistyczne do obliczeń rozproszonych i równoległych.

 

Dr Slawomir Potempski is the researcher at the National Centre for Nuclear Research and the Head of the Centre of Excellence, currently Centre of Hazard Analysis MANHAZ (Management of Health and Environmental Hazards). He obtained his doctorate at the Warsaw University in the field of applied mathematics. His main fields of interest are: risk analysis for chemical and nuclear installations, consequence analysis after the releases of dangerous substances to environment, emergency preparedness and response including computer aided decision support systems, numerical methods and high performance computing, advanced software technologies for distributed and parallel computations.
