Wydarzenie odbędzie się 8 maja 2025 roku w Filharmonii im. Mieczysława Karłowicza w Szczecinie i zgromadzi kluczowych ekspertów, przedstawicieli administracji rządowej, organizacji międzynarodowych oraz liderów sektora cyfrowego z całej Europy.

Konferencję otworzy wiceminister cyfryzacji Rafał Rosiński.

Uczestnicy będą dyskutować o:

• budowaniu europejskiej suwerenności cyfrowej i niezależności technologicznej,
• wyzwaniach związanych z bezpieczeństwem cyfrowym,
• ochronie wartości demokratycznych w środowisku cyfrowym,
• równoważeniu innowacji z odpowiedzialną regulacją.

W programie przewidziano trzy panele eksperckie:
1. Geopolitics of International Digital Challenges – Building a Secure and Innovative Future
2. Digital Policies & Cooperation for Economic Security
3. Digital Innovation and Joint Initiatives for Competitiveness and Regulations – Finding the Right Balance Between Safety & Innovation

Wydarzenie będzie stanowić platformę do wymiany wiedzy i doświadczeń oraz wspólnego definiowania priorytetów cyfrowych polityk i inicjatyw w skali europejskiej i globalnej.

Technological Sovereignty, Security and Democracy in the Digital Age – International Conference in Szczecin

In response to growing challenges related to digital transformation, the European Union is intensifying efforts to strengthen international cooperation in the field of digital policy. One of the key events of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union will be the conference "International Digital Partnerships and Projects for Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy", organized by the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

The event will take place on 8 May 2025 in Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin. The conference will bring together leading experts, representatives of government administrations, international organizations, and digital sector leaders from across Europe.

The conference will be opened by Rafał Rosiński, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

Participants will discuss:

• building European digital sovereignty and technological independence,
• challenges related to cybersecurity,
• protecting democratic values in the digital environment,
• striking the right balance between innovation and responsible regulation.

The programme will feature three expert panels:

1. Geopolitics of International Digital Challenges – Building a Secure and Innovative Future
2. Digital Policies & Cooperation for Economic Security
3. Digital Innovation and Joint Initiatives for Competitiveness and Regulations – Finding the Right Balance Between Safety & Innovation

The event will serve as a platform for exchanging knowledge and experience, as well as for jointly defining digital policy priorities and initiatives at the European and global level.
